Serene Primary Suite

The Challenge

The original primary suite lacked architectural interest and featured a cavernous, inefficient bathroom layout that felt cold and uninviting. The clients desired a hotel-like retreat to escape their demanding careers.

Our Approach

We introduced warmth through custom walnut millwork and deeply textured grasscloth wallcoverings. In the en-suite, we reconfigured the plumbing to center a freestanding soaking tub against a dramatic book-matched marble backdrop, complemented by unlacquered brass fixtures that will beautifully patina over time.

The Result

A deeply calming, tactile retreat that wraps the clients in comfort. The juxtaposition of the rich woods with the veined stone creates a sophisticated sanctuary.
